Our company invites applications for the Sr. Research Scientist position, Dermal Clinical Research, Personal Care based in our Piscataway, NJ location. The responsibilities of this position are as follows:

 

  • Identify and help develop new innovative clinical methods to explore new technical leads, active ingredients and product claims substantiation.
  • Work with cross-functional project teams (Product Development, Early Research, Safety, Regulatory, Legal, Marketing) to review concepts/claims trackers, and develop robust clinical program to support.
  • Identify and help validate new clinical labs to meet increasing Regulatory demands
  • Keep current of science and instrumentation relevant to clinical research through literature, scientific meetings and consultants.
  • Identify competitive strategy for testing and claims support through their presentations and publications.
  • Serve as a resource for expertise in clinical design and interpretation.
  • Coordinate in-house testing (as needed).
  • Assist with Study Agreements and the processing of Purchase Orders/Invoices (as needed).

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree required (preferably in an area of Science; biology, chemistry)
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of functional experience required
  • Strong experience in clinical research preferred (preferably with Personal Care products)
  • Excellent communication, presentation and writing skills
  • Able to multi-task and manage projects independently
  • Understanding of statistical methods to design and interpret clinical data preferred
  • Innovative
  • Strong management skills preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of time
