The Network Operations Associate, Global Category Supply Chain is responsible for supporting product sourcing initiatives that include but are not limited to: supporting product sourcing strategies for existing and new products, driving product simplification, consolidating global capacities, seeking savings opportunities in product sourcing.

 

Key interfaces include GBD, Research & Development, Global Procurement and Customer Service & Logistics, as well as, the regional CMS organization.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Product Sourcing – Support the development of Global Sourcing Strategies to deliver lowest cost supply structure while aligning with the commercial needs.  This involves direct involvement with sourcing studies to determine optimum sourcing locations, as well as, where products are made. 
  •  Product Simplification – Support efforts in global and regional formula and packaging harmonization / standardization to reduce costs and improve factory flexibility and service. 
  • Capacity Management – Maintain Global Capacity Reports to provide updated information on each facility’s short and long term capacity plans.  Ensure supply chain sourcing plan provides adequate capacity and capability to support future business growth.  Coordinate efforts to develop a detailed Supply Chain Contingency plan that is actionable in case of a catastrophic event and interruption in the supply chain.
  • FTG – Identify global savings opportunities through product sourcing and simplification initiatives.  Work closely with the Regional CMS teams and Global FTG Category Coordinator to ensure savings programs are implemented on time and that savings are captured and reported correctly.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field.
  • 3+ years of Plant Operations or Engineering experience in Supply Chain.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge on SAP and BW is a plus.
