The Digital Procurement Analyst – Global Procurement Buying & Invoice will join the digital procurement team covering the Buying & Invoice digital process for Indirect and Direct procurement teams. The Digital Procurement Analyst – Global Procurement Buying & Invoice will be responsible for working directly with the 3rd party platform provider and other internal business stakeholders to manage the Buying & Invoice scope and deliverables for the digital procurement process.  Communication with all levels of the organization and global/local suppliers will be required. The following activities will be performed:

 

  • Accountable for successful execution of the scope of work including such activities of planning, design, implementation & post implementation recap of the Buying & Invoice work stream.
  • Support development of the Global Guided buying structure and process within the Buying workstream.
  • Point of contact for the global Buying & Invoice work stream .
  • Partner with project manager to influence the timeline, all customer resource activities, drive resolution of any escalated issues, and other key project management items related to the Buying & Invoice work stream.
  • Drive design and implementation of Guided buying within the Buying & Invoice work stream.
  • Work directly with CBS (Colgate Business Services), Procurement operations & Accounts Payable, to build and implement the Buying & Invoice work stream.
  • Design reporting/Tracking of KPIs and set up continuous improvement methodology for the Buying & Invoice work stream including simplification tracking.
  • Partner with the change management lead to plan and execute activities globally within the Buying & Invoice work stream such as training and communication.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems or relevant technical discipline.
  • 4+ years of practical working experience in Procurement, Project Management, Finance, Information Systems or Supply Chain.
  • A minimum of 2 years project management experience.
  • A minimum of 1 year global project management.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An advanced degree (MBA) or professional certificate (CPM or CPSM or Project Management).
  • High customer services skills with multiple functions and regions.
  • Ability to understand and lead technology based discussions.
  • A good understanding of Source to Pay (S2P) and Procure to Pay (P2P) processes including Procurement Software such as SAP, Ariba, eSourcing, Spend analyzer.
