Position Purpose:


- In charge of negotiating, coordinating and implementing Colgate's business strategies with the client, maintaining a cordial relationship between both companies through negotiations of new products, promotions, offers, etc. with local buyers, managers and store managers and any other personnel involved in the operations of the business locally.


Let’s talk about responsibilities:


-To be the main contact between Colgate Palmolive and the client
- Follow up on regional negotiations through weekly meetings with local clients (investment, new products, on packs, price changes, etc.)
- Develop together with the work team (Brand Development Manager (BDM), Team Leader, regional team) growth plans in sales by category.
- Provide weekly monitoring of service levels and replacement of products and execution of control quota.
- Make adjustments to the current account according to the information provided by the finance department.
- Coordinate and ensure, in conjunction with the agency, all the implementation of the activities and strategies in the points of sale at the national level.
- Monitor the growth or decrease by format and category, to define the actions to follow.
- Tactical negotiations in point of sale.
- Establish the link between the merchant outsourcing and Colgate Palmolive to follow up on the solution of all the specific problems of the different formats.
-To spend 40% of the time in visiting stores considering capital and interior to ensure the execution of the 5Ps of our categories.
- Validate the negotiations that are made in stores by the supervisors as well as coordinate the amounts to authorize these negotiations.
- Establish product priorities in negotiations at points of sale.
- Support to process of calculation of quantities of product in the different formats
- Participation and collaboration in 30-60-90 with Collaborative Planning Forecasting & Replenishment (CPFR) in order to ensure the implementation of business plans
- Generation and analysis of Retail Link (sales by category, by store, store prices, inventory)
- Follow up on the levels of service and replacement of products.
- Make adjustments to the current account according to the information provided by the finance department.
- Coordinate all the implementations of the activities in the points of sale of the client at national level.
- Carry controls per store and format the growth or decrease by category to take the
decisions of the actions to follow to achieve our goals as a company
- Develop and ensure the process of administration of the sale, including:
Supports Joint Business Planning preparation and commercial and promotional plans
Negotiation and monitoring of Joint Business Planning and business plans
Analysis of the data related to the performance of the sale by client
Preparation of adjustments and monitoring of the current account
Regional - Negotiates the income of the new product at a regional level, consolidates the information and sends
local team
-Generation of inventory adjustment reports


What you need for this position:


  • Bachelor's degree

  • 4+ years of experience in sales and customer service in consumer goods companies

  • Intermediate / advanced English

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Negotiation Techniques

  • Business presentation techniques (presentation skills)

  • Availability to travel 25% of the time to the central region

  • People management (preferred sales force)
