Job Summary                                               

 

As part of the Global Learning Team, this position supports the strategic planning of learning and is responsible to develop high impact learning initiatives designed to improve organizational capability to achieve business results. The role partners with the other key stakeholders in execution of appropriate learning solutions to create best possible learning experience for employees.

 

 

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

 

 

  • Consult with Business Leaders of the assigned functions and other key stakeholders (eg: Business HR) to understand business and organizational goals, gather business requirements to proactively identify learning opportunities in support of strategic business goals and operational objectives.
  • Support the strategic planning process within the functions assigned by attending and partnering key functional meetings and events
  • Gather new emerging trends and capabilities for the assigned function(s) to develop new learning experiences to drive business goals.
  • Be intimately familiar and connected with Regions and Divisions in order to escalate gaps and needs
  • Work with CoHRE resources to determine future direction, prioritize gaps and identify curricula solutions
  • Partner with Learning Design and Content Lead for the execution of all learning design and creation activities
  • Collaborate with Tools and Methods team to ensure alignment with curricula strategy and  to identify creative alternatives to performance challenges; partners to drive adoption and challenge standards
  • Review content programs being developed to ensure alignment to business needs and provide input as needed
  • Provide guidance to the LMS Administration Team (Lead Analyst) on appropriate criteria for creating curricula programs and assignment profiles
  • Partner with finance to effectively develop, manage and analyze variances on an ongoing basis of the budget assigned
  • Actively participate in the Governance process preparing and presenting interim learning requests

 

 

 

Education/ Experience Requirements

 

  • 10+ years of Human Resources experience.
  • Bachelor education, Master preferred
  • Budget responsibilities of 2.0-4.0+MM$

Functional Competencies  

 

  • Project management skills in the learning and development space
  • Proven experience in training related field; preferably adult learners with demonstrated excellence in presentation skills. Professional certification is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of training design and development, instructional methodology and adult learning theory
