Position Purpose & Main duties:


This role within the Global Legal Organization will be responsible for supporting Senior Data Privacy Counsel and Chief Compliance Counsel  in reviewing, updating and implementing a Global Data Privacy Compliance Program (“Program”), including:


  • Overall policy and procedure management, covering vendor management, incident response, Code of Conduct and function specific guidelines
  • Developing and delivering training and guidance materials for employees and relevant third parties
  • Ensuring compliance with developments in the law, such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation, as well as other transnational and national laws and regulations
  • Reviewing, updating, implementing, an accountability process to assess risks and ensure compliance with the Program
  • Working in cross-functional teams to support digital initiatives, including direct to consumer and the development of connected devices


Requirements & Qualifications:


The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and organized individual who can operate both autonomously and within a large, matrixed organization, with excellent business judgment and interpersonal skills. 

  • Undergraduate and degrees required; NY Bar Admission
  • Familiarity with data privacy laws and trends globally, and a strong interest in proactively enhancing subject matter expertise
  • Strong analytical, communication and legal writing skills
  • Experience with working in a team environment and independently
  • Ability to interact with attorneys, executives, and other business partners
  • Must be an effective liaison between the business and outside counsel
  • Ability to travel as needed
