SAP BI Associate Technical Analyst / Technical Analyst

Scope of responsibility:


The Technical Analyst plays an integral role in applying technology to streamline and add value to existing and new business processes :
Technical Skill:

  • Expertise
      • Experience in BW 7.3 and above
      • Fair knowledge of programming languages like R, Python, Java, SQL, ABAP
      • Exposure to Business Objects, Tableau , Qlikview
      • Exposure to BW on HANA desirable
      • HANA studio development would be added advantage
  • Data Modeling
      • Create and Manage Info objects, data targets like info cubes and DSO, Info providers like Info set and multi-providers, DTP and info packages, transformations to include update and transfer rules, routines, function modules and customer exits
  • Data Extraction
      • Should have worked on LO extractions, COPA extractions and data source enhancements and experience in Inventory non-cumulative data sources desirable
  • Reporting
      • Creation & Modification of Bex queries, Web Application Designer, Webis
  • Functional Experience ( Desirable)
      • Understanding of business processes like Order to cash, Procure to pay, Materials management , Warehouse management,  APO planning, etc
  • Fluency in English is essential
  • Applying conceptual knowledge and technology to solve complex business processes and procedural problems.
  • Supporting complex projects of a cross-functional nature.
  • Ensuring appropriate subsidiary involvement in project teams to build ownership for solutions.
  • Acting as a regional or global expert for most complex processes within function.
  • Manage and/or perform the design, testing and application of SAP systems in line with agreed timeframes, business requirements and global standards.
  • Support the business to maximise utilisation of the implemented SAP solutions.
  • Assignment to key projects per the Global IT project grid
