Job Title: CBS Learning System Administration Leader






Department :  Global Learning      Division : Global HR   Location : Mumbai







Job Summary                                              


As part of the CBS Learning Team, this position is responsible for coordinating and continuously improving LMS admin processes and activities cross-functionally to create best possible learning experience for employees. The role will also collaborate with the Tools and Methods team in the CoHRE as needed.



Principal Duties & Responsibilities


  • Keep current with external LMS trends and developments and apply learning to improve internal LMS processes


  • Review LMS requirements and provide recommendations to CoHRE Tools & Methods Lead for potential enhancements


  • Oversee LMS administration teams


  • Maintain LMS taxonomy


  • Conduct audits to understand gaps from a global perspective
  • Conduct Continuous Improvement assessment and Trend Analysis


  • Collaborate with CoHRE Tools and Methods team as needed
  • Provide coaching and guidance to the LMS team to ensure correct execution of new LMS requirements (eg: testing and new curricula)


  • Identify and lead all process improvement activities for the learning organization


  • Set global Learning measurement and analytics guidance, standards, and processes


  • Execute the global strategy and approach for learning measurement and analytics
  • Serve as subject matter expert and in a consulting capacity to other  LMS admins and collaborate with them to develop solutions that preserve the integrity of the LMS while meeting the needs of the business
  • Support LMS admin needs, including issue tracking, resolution and / or escalation
  • Special projects in support of the overall Learning goals, as needed.




Education/ Experience Requirements

Minimum Education/Experience: 

  • 5-7 years of HR/Learning/LMS experience
  • up to 5 of recent experience working as an LMS administrator
  • Bachelor education, Master preferred
  • Managing a team of 10 people

  • Knowledge of operations management and process improvement approaches, concepts, and tools
  • Organizes work efforts by prioritizing tasks, using resources optimally, establishing appropriate deadlines and ensuring on-time delivery
  • Knowledge of and ability to use industry and organization standards, procedures, and policies relevant to learning and development
  • Experience in outsourcing operational services or managing outsourced services
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work and manage teams
  • Knowledge of change management methods and techniques
  • Ability to encourage, motivate, and guide individuals and teams potentially located around the world

Functional Competencies  


  • Certification as an administrator of a Learning Management System, or demonstrated equivalent experience and expertise, is required.
  • Excellent customer service and support oriented-approaches to interaction
  • Self-directed with a proven history of delivering on time
  • Extremely detail oriented and accurate
  • Proficiency and experience in managing data and reporting capabilities required
  • Strong analytical and problem solving capability, with an orientation towards continuous process improvement
  • Use systems and applications effectively to make fact-based decisions and deliver and improve HR services
  • Partner with GIT and external vendors to develop or enhance HR technology
