Job Title: CBS Learning Delivery Specialist





Department :  Global Learning      Division : Global HR   Location : Mumbai











Job Summary                                               


The overall responsibility of the role includes partnering with Business HR in developing the annual and ongoing training calendar for the region and ensuring the smooth implementation of the programs planned. This includes planning and execution of programs, monitoring program effectiveness, reporting results and making recommendations for improvement. This role will also be responsible for ensuring a positive learning experience and ensuring the sessions are effective and relevant.


Principal Duties & Responsibilities



    • Handle key strategic and day-to-day operational responsibilities pertaining to the planning and execution of the Training Calendar for the region


    • Secure on-going communication and alignment with Global Learning Community of HR Expertise,  Colgate Business Services and Business HR on the ground for current and new learning initiatives


    • Responsible to communicate to Business HR learning global learning priorities and to address local/Regional training needs


    • Stay informed on legislation impacting the Region’s training and education obligations (e.g. Unions, Language requirements, type of learning format); escalate ad-hoc training needs


    • Determine Scheduled Offerings for business units based on needs and work with CBS Learning in Mumbai implement


    • Ensure effective coordination and monitoring of  training programs within the assigned Region


    • Create ad-hoc communication material on training happening in the region


    • Leverage execution of learning plans on the ground and coordinate training efforts to ensure the full utilization of site training facilities, processes, resources, equipment and third-party vendors.


    • Assist in prioritizing training requirements; resolving and clarifying training goals and objectives; and identifying trainers to support Learning plans


    • Continually seek and support new approaches, practices and processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of training programs.

Education/ Experience Requirements

Minimum Education/Experience: 

  • Up to 5 years of HR/Learning experience
  • 3+ years of Learning on the ground experience
  • Bachelor education, Master preferred
  • English: fluent (speaking, reading, writing)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; manages internal communications and external / customer communications with detailed support and assistance

  • Strong time management skills to prioritize effectively and handle multiple, aggressive deadlines
  • Strong background in project management and strong communication skills to coordinate and motivate the learners and internal and external Trainers.

  • Prior experience as Training Leader/Professional on the ground preferred
