Principal duties & responsibilities

  • Category Analysis 
  • You'll be responsible for category analysis and gathering insights for category reviews and new item introductions, from where you'll make recommendations to the Category Advisor or Customer Development Manager with information for customer presentations and/or account planning.
  • Conduct retail store audits to troubleshoot problems and monitor competitors activity.
  • Brand Strategies/Priorities
  • Understand brand strategies & priorities. Learn to initiate & synchronize brand strategies/priorities with customer strategies. Assist in achieving flawless execution of product initiatives.
  • Communications – Clear communication of information and strong social skills will bring alignment to functional team.
  • Colgate Business Planning 
  • Process and tool knowledge.
  • Work with Account Managers to provide information that helps build effective account plans, and also, to follow-up on execution of the approved plans.
  • Knowledge of HUB/Customer Execution
  • Promotional Analysis – Analyze promotion performance and provide insights on their effectiveness, as well as make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Provide monthly category/brand updates and
  • Gather brand and category overviews to support business planning.
  • Be on top of market share, retail pricing, trade support, distribution, market growth/decline at a National level and then by retail environment and customer.
  • Monitor category, segment, and retail environment trends to contribute in brand planning.
  • Evaluate sales, distribution and trade support of new products, re-launches and test markets.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency including high-level knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word required


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 years of work experience
  • Experience in consumer packaged goods or similar industry
