Job Title: Senior Exec/Associate Manager – Customer Service 


Reports to: Senior Manager, Logistics


Job Summary : 


• Responsible for providing collaborative end to end solutions that leverage joint capabilities and expertise in support of Colgate’s Customer Development and  Customer Service strategies. 

• Provides support for the Commercial Business Planning (CBP) process and the critical link to Demand Planning to ensure alignment.  

• Generates growth and profitability opportunities for both customers and Colgate-Palmolive by collaborating with the customer to reduce the cost to serve, and improve retail in-stock rates.


Essential Job Functions : 


• Monitors performance metrics (KPI’s) to understand service and efficiency trends within assigned distributors and identify opportunities for improvement. Shares performance information with the Team and distributors to develop collaborative approaches to correct inefficient behaviors or fix system disconnects/failures. 

• Leads the Supply Chain initiatives engagement with the distributors focusing on Good Warehouse Practices (GWP) opportunities, Order-To-Invoice efficiency,  and Outbound service KPI of the distributor.

• Leads the Inventory Management initiatives at distributors focusing on Inventory/SKU deep-dive analysis, SLOB/discontinued clearance and distributor Stock Count Accuracy tracking.  

• Closely works with Customer Development Managers on collaborative CBP planning, identifying inconsistencies in volume estimates based on historical trends.  Links distributor specific plans to Demand Planning process to ensure alignment and execution by the Supply Chain.  

• Monitors the shipment Vs CBP planned volume of key SKUs, shares the tracking and recommended actions for decision making.

• Communicates proactively with Customer Development/distributors when supply execution issues are experienced to manage customer expectations.

• Liaise with End to End Supply Chain contacts, as well as a Freight forwarder, Regulatory and Finance on the ground on shipment documentation and status to ensure on-time arrival of container shipment and timely unloading and invoicing by the distributor.

• Coordinates cross-functional work teams to eliminate root causes of distributor supply chain inefficiencies and Out of Stocks (OOS).

• Seeks input from distributors about their needs and expectations to continually improve Customer Service and Supply Chain performance.

• Collaborates with the distributors to identify logistics process and execution improvements to maximize on-shelf availability and decrease costs.


Applied Knowledge and Skills : 


This position required to be Agilent and able to manage ambiguity in a cross-functional team environment


Experience required : 


Minimum 3 Years of experience in the Consumer Goods Industry. Strong background in planning 


Qualification Required : Degree in any field
