Position Purpose:


Develop a strategic regional mindset in Latin America for Media and Marketing spend areas, increase the Media Procurement involvement through high expertise in working effectively with Media agencies, including but not limited to: Media Networking, Digital, Programmatic, and Media Production.

Develop and Implement strategic multi-year plans for our Marketing spend: Market Research, POP, Commercial Print, In-Store activities and activations, and Market Research among others. 


Let’s talk about main responsibilities:


  • Responsible for exceeding the spend category procurement goals, ie: Savings, Cost Avoidance, Supplier Consolidation, Innovation.
  • Develop standard regional formats/templates and keep a regional repository on best practices for Contracting.
  • High compliance in regional contract execution
  • Provide clear direction for Innovation targets aligned with internal stakeholders.
  • Support and track Innovation Initiatives in the region, ie. Innovation Day.
  • Provide direction and define priorities for category circles.
  • Conduct periodical team meetings to ensure project alignment and prioritization.
  • Perform regular in-depth category reviews in person or through telepresence.
  • Promote and facilitate the team learning of market conditions and trends, as well as relevant internal Colgate processes.
  • Keep track of key areas of opportunity, maintaining a holistic view of the business, and bring solutions that will result in quality products and services at the best cost.
  • Ensure the teams follow the 7 Steps of the Strategic sourcing process, to achieve or exceed the savings and simplification goals.
  • Perform category spend analysis, and point out areas the opportunity to the local teams.
  • Timely reporting.
  • Foster an open and collaborative environment.


What you need for this position:


  • Bachelor´s Degree on Business Administration, International Business, Marketing or related
  • At least 3 years of experience in similar positions
  • Advanced English
  • MS Office and Google Tools proficiency


Additional knowledge/experience:


  • SAP
