Position Purpose:

 

This position plays an integral role in using technology to streamline and improve Customer Service and Logistics processes; Apply conceptual knowledge of the Supply Chain to develop and implement solutions that satisfy all business requirements and engage with business leadership and key users at the global, divisional and regional level; Develop SAP applications such as Global ATP, Advanced ATP, Extended Warehouse Management, Transportation Management and Event Management; 

 

Let’s talk about main responsibilities:

 

  • Understands and applies Information Technology standards to daily support and project implementation activities
  • Apply conceptual knowledge of business processes and technology to solve complex business processes and
    procedural problems. 
  • Identify and assess new technologies and concepts that can add value to the business.
  • Manage and/or perform the design, testing and applications of SAP systems configuration in line with agreed timeframes, business requirements and global standards.
  • Document detailed specifications of configuration design, test and training programs
  • Maintain Production Systems reliability through correct utilization of GIT standard support and Governance processes
  • Support day to day business requirements according to Global SLA
  • Deliver solutions to solve business requirements considering priorities and resources available
  • Partner with internal Information Technology Organizations such as Global Development, Risk Management and the Global Shared Service Organization and other cross-functional business units as necessary.
  • Participate and contribute in special projects or initiatives such as institutional programs, committees and others 
  • Lead and coordinate implementation of medium and large size projects across the division
  • Collaborate with other GIT and external partners to deliver business requirements
  • Ensure the proper use of Information Technology project management methodology (GIT 5 Steps Methodology) to comply with Information Technology governance practices.
  • Understand and apply GIT 5 Steps Methodology to build plans and implement Projects
  • Coordinate activities of internal and/or external resources according to project needs

 

 

What you need for this position:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Advanced english
  • +5 years on IT Role developing, configuring and implementing SAP SCM Modules (SD or MM/WM)

 

 

Additional knowledge/experience in the following is a plus:

 

  • Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods Companies
  • SAP Academy certification in Supply Chain Management (SCM) modules
  • Portuguese
  • Experience in any SAP logistics module
  • ABAP/JAVA knowledge
  • +2 years of experience on Project Management
