Position Purpose:


The Brand Manager is responsible for the results in sales, profitability and market share of one or more subcategories. He is responsible for adapting the strategies, tactics and Divisional plans to the Regional or local reality. He is responsible for the definition of Consumer Marketing strategies, tactics, and plans for subcategories.


Let’s talk about responsibilities:


  • Responsible for the P & L of the sub-categories and products.
  • Define and align the strategies, tactics (5Ps) and Consumer Marketing plans of the sub-categories for the region or country.
  • Define the sales objectives volumes, net sales, market share, product launch and advertising investment of the sub-categories. Monitor the fulfillment of these objectives and take the corresponding corrective actions.
  • Plan, develop and advise on the launch of new products. Coordinate the timing of product launches. Define the mix of brands and portfolio in each country.
  • Prepare recommendations, solutions and modifications to the strategic guidelines and plans based on information about the competition.
  • Identify needs and prioritize Consumer Insights activities of its sub-categories.
  • Identify market opportunities and threats and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Determine the pricing strategy and suggest SPIs
  • Propose communication plans to achieve the objectives of the promotional grid and new products.
  • Determine and authorize POP strategies, regional promotional events (eg, Oral Health Month)
  • Work with Customer Marketing in the definition of promotions at the channel level and ensure the strategy in POS and business environment.
  • Identify synergies and recommend actions for the control of SKUs (regular and promotional)of the sub-categories.
  • Suggest recommendations and monitor monthly plans for the sub-categories.
  • Maintain direct interaction and alignment with the Customer Marketing Managers and Relations Professionals, Category Development Managers,  in addition to the regional functions of Legal, Supply Chain and Finance
  • Prepare and make the Budget and Mid-Year Review presentations for the Division
  • Resolve the concerns of the countries regarding the strategy and marketing tactics of the category.


What you need for this position


  • Bachelor Degree (Industrial Engineering, Commercial Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or related careers)
  • Advanced English
  • Advanced Office package management
  • 2 years of experience in the Consumer Marketing area/Supply Chain/Customer Development
