Position:  Customer Development Executive (Makro)

Reports to:  Team Leader - Wholesales Cash & Carry


Department’s Top 3 Objectives;

  1. Driving of coverage plan to deliver sustainable buying customers and customer engagment to the next level
  2. Implemetation of IT mobile technology to uplift level of instore efficiency
  3. Expansion of brand distribution with targetted skus and visibilities initiatives


Core Responsibilities;

  • Developing and supporting the relationship between CP and Direct customers in assigned territory
  • Achieving sales targer to deliver net sales, distribution, volume, NPAT and SOM


Day-to-Day Responsibilities;

  • Establishing strong relationship with customers by providing effective coverage and visiting stores with required frequency
  • Conducting regular business review to follow up key issues and to proactively understand customers needs in order to provide recommendation and solutions to meet CP requirements
  • Interpretating Sales report to indentify business opportunities
  • Developing and executing customer plans to profitably increase sales volume, distribution and SOM
  • Collaboratively working with CPG of volume forecasting , CS&L in term of logistics management to ensure appropriate inventory level
  •  Implementing with customers incentive/program to drive demand, loyalty and profitable growth
  • Tracking customer KPI and taking action to improve performance
  • Identifies causes of 5P activities’ underperformance, both internal and external to Colgate.
  • Conducting regular merchandiser meeting and training to ensure excellent 5 Ps execution
  • Collects information on the external environment (e.g., competitor activity) during the promotion period.
  • Capturing in-store opportunities to improve shelf exhibition and shopper communication
  • Supervising Merchandiser within territory


Required Qualifications;

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business related
  • 1-3 years or above of Consumer Goods Industry Experience
  • 1-3 years or above of Functional Experience (Modern Trade / Traditional Trade)
  • Strong Interpersonal skill
  • Good Command of English Communication
  • Computer-literate
  • Good Analytical, Negotiation skills
