The Customer Efficiencies Analyst position is a key part of the Customer Alliance Organization providing analytical support for EDGE Commercial Policies and Cost to serve while working cross functionally with Customer Alliance Managers, Logistics Analysis, Finance, and O2I.   It is responsible for providing reporting and analysis of customer logistics and operational data as well as providing key insights to the Customer Alliance Team. 

 

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Provide analytics and data visualization to drive down cost and promote continuous improvement:

  • Creates and maintains EDGE/ Cost to Serve database reports to analyze business changes and cost impact
  • Provide and maintain data for key KPIs; provide trend analysis support on performance and report daily, weekly, monthly or as needed
  • Provide advanced analytics and insights to drive costs out of the supply chain and find efficiencies with our customers

2. Coordinates Customer Alliance Business Reviews to actively engage Customer Alliance Teams and facilitate identification of supply chain efficiencies

  1. Leverages Colgate and Customer data to facilitate information sharing and continuous improvement
  2. Ensures learning’s are captured throughout analysis and leverages lessons learned from prior initiatives to optimize results

3.    Provide Customer budget and FTG alignment and tracking:

  • Integrate and collaborate with Logistics Analysis, Transportation, Customer Alliance,  Operations and Finance on insights to present holistic picture of customer order to shelf supply chain opportunities as well as work closely with Logistics Analysis on Customer Budget Opportunities.

4. Maintain accurate databases

  • Liaise with business owners and our Shared Services Organizations (SSO) in the definition of functional requirements, the translation of those requirements into development specifications and the construction of a system for successful implementation within business units around the world
  • Work closely with the team Manager, IT, and customer teams to understand industry best practices and customer requirements.

5.  Ad Hoc Report Management

  • Support Customer Alliance in Customer Projects; align with key functional experts and stakeholders to provide critical financial, logistics and customer analyses, as well as tracking and monitoring.
  • Lead small scale customer projects

 

 

 

Required

 BS/BA in Business, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field (MA/MS in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or MBA preferred)- Required

A minimum of 3 years of functional/technical experience- Required

Strong Functional / Technical knowledge of Supply Chain processes and systems, including EXCEL, Access , Cost to Serve, Crystal Reports, Qlikview- Required

Financial Acumen- preferred

Strong organizational, project management and coordination skills, including lean six sigma principles- Required

Advanced analytical skills with ability to mine and interpret data- Required
